Administration of property and inheritance law
- comprehensive advisory services in connection with the effective administration and maintenance of property, including decisions on its fate after the death of the owner, trusts, etc.
- drafting a last will and testament, disinheritance and other documentation (in this CEAG cooperates with the foremost Prague notaries)
- establishing the administration of the estate
- representation in inheritance proceedings before notaries and in disputes over inheritance (challenging the validity of the last will and testament)
Inheritance proceedings can last months, even years. Since 1 January 2005, the institute of administrating estates has gained a new form whereby one may select who will be the administrator of his estate during the inheritance proceedings (with the person’s agreement) after his death. This includes leasing, maintaining, and with the agreement of the court, even selling the property. In this way, the property does not lie idle or go to ruin, as has often happened, while the estate is being settled.
